As a mom and entrepreneur, I’ve spent much of my life building businesses, helping people grow, and learning firsthand what it takes to create success while doing my best to balance family, work and a life of my own.
Over the years, I’ve started four businesses and successfully sold one, while spending more than 25 years in the personal development space. My career has taken me through marketing, entrepreneurship, coaching, hypnotherapy, writing and speaking, all with one common thread: helping people see possibilities they may not have seen on their own.
But some of my most valuable lessons didn’t come from a business plan, seminar or strategy. They came from living a very full life.
I know what it’s like to be pulled in different directions, always thinking about the next decision, the next idea, the next problem to solve. And when you’re building your professional life while caring for a family, a home and people who depend on you, your own needs can quietly move to the bottom of the list.
I’ve learned that our best thinking rarely happens when our minds are crowded. Sometimes the smartest thing an ambitious woman can do is step away, even if it’s only for a little while.
When we slow down, we create room to think, reconnect with our creativity and see things differently. Ideas surface. Problems look different. And decisions can come from clarity rather than pressure.
That belief is at the heart of Birvelle.
I created Birvelle because I need the reminder, too. Just like you, I have family pressures, ideas swirling around in my head, decisions to be made, and dreams I’m excited to pursue. But I’ve learned that ambition and ease don’t have to be opposites. We can dream big, accomplish meaningful things and still give ourselves room to breathe.
Birvelle is your invitation to quiet the noise, open a good book, enjoy something unexpected and claim a little time that belongs to you. Sometimes that means stepping away. Other times, it simply means bringing a little more beauty, curiosity and fun into the day you're already having.
After all my years in business and personal developm there is one thing I've come to believe deeply: sometimes stepping back really is the best way to move forward.
